Sanders Releases Statement After Supreme Court Overturns Roe v. Wade

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Sarah Huckabee Sanders has released the following statement after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade today:

“For decades, this is a day so many of us have prayed for and worked towards. I am thankful for the brave resolve of the six Supreme Court justices who – while receiving death threats and extreme political pressure – did what is right: defending the lives of the most innocent and vulnerable in our society.

“As Americans, we value the sanctity of life, and it is in our very nature to protect it. As a mom, I know the love that each of my three children have brought to our family, and, as governor, I will fight to keep Arkansas one of the most pro-life states in the nation.”

Sanders Hosts Policy Roundtable With Energy Leaders

EL DORADO, AR – Sarah Huckabee Sanders sat down with energy leaders from across Arkansas today as she continues her policy roundtable series focused on empowering Arkansans. The group exchanged ideas on fostering the growth of the energy sector, taking an all-of-the-above approach, and providing reliable, affordable energy to all Arkansans.

“As President Biden continues to destroy our economy with his America-last energy policies and beg other nations for foreign oil, it’s time to unleash the resources we have right here at home,” Sanders said. “As governor, I will enact bold, conservative reforms to create an environment that allows the energy industry to continue to invest and diversify. A strong economy and a reliable, growing energy sector will create opportunity for every Arkansan and help take our state to the top.”

Sanders has hosted roundtables on education, tourism and outdoor recreation, workforce development, economic development, and public safety. She will host roundtables on healthcare and infrastructure, among other topics, in the coming months.

Sanders Launches New TV Ad: “Pay Raise”

LITTLE ROCK, AR – The Sarah Huckabee Sanders for Governor campaign released a new TV ad, “Pay Raise,” that will begin airing statewide on Wednesday as part of a more than $1 million TV buy. In the ad, Sanders calls out President Biden’s failed big government policies, which have contributed to record inflation — a pay cut for all Arkansans. Sanders instead calls for responsibly phasing out the state income tax to give Arkansans a pay raise.

Sanders Hosts Policy Roundtable With Business And Education Leaders To Discuss Workforce Development

April 11, 2022

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Sarah Huckabee Sanders sat down with business and education leaders from across Arkansas on Friday to discuss workforce development. The group exchanged ideas on building a stronger workforce pipeline, elevating opportunities for employment, and expanding job training programs. 
 

“Investing in workforce development is essential to creating strong businesses and communities across Arkansas,” Sanders said. “When I’m governor, I will foster an environment for businesses to create thousands of higher paying jobs while recruiting and retaining highly skilled workers to strengthen our economic base. LITTLE ROCK, AR – Sarah Huckabee Sanders sat down with public safety leaders, recovery and reentry experts, and law enforcement officials from across Arkansas yesterday to discuss ways to ensure a safer future for the state. 

The group exchanged ideas on decreasing violent crime, combatting the drug epidemic, and equipping law enforcement with the resources they need to protect our communities.

“As governor, I will ensure Arkansas is a law-and-order state that is tough on crime because when our communities are safe, our people are empowered,” Sanders said. “Our goal will always be to prosecute those who deserve it and help those who want it. We will invest in public safety by reducing violent crime, combatting the drug epidemic, and improving officer recruitment and retention to create a safer Arkansas for our children.”

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Sarah Huckabee Sanders hosted a roundtable yesterday in Bentonville with parks, tourism, and outdoor recreation leaders across Arkansas – the second in her series of policy discussions focused on empowering Arkansans. 
 
The group exchanged ideas to promote tourism, grow our outdoor economy, and improve quality of life in Arkansas.

Poll Shows Sanders Leads 58% – 28% In General Election
